Interview with Blake and Tyra
JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Blake: I personally never had a problem getting along
with other inmates.
Tyra: No. However, in the holding cell, an inmate
brought in heroin and proceeded to snort it as
officer after officer after officer walked by.
JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Blake: To avoid fight, I had to learn, sometimes the hard
way, what inmates had "Bad ass" attitudes. Then I
would just not socializes with them, or avoid any
run ins.
Tyra: nothing really.
JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Blake: no.
Tyra: not really
